Dr. Chanvit from Ministry of Public Health and Mr. Enomoto from JICA Project
On the 13th August 2013, the 2nd Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) was held at Ministry of Public Health (MOPH). From Japan side, Mr. Ishikawa, Secretary of Embassy of Japan in Thailand, Mr. Ikeda, Chief Representative of JICA Thailand office and JICA expert team have participated in. From Thai side, counterpart organizations such as MOPH, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS) and representatives from local government offices in 6 project sites who had participated in the Counterpart Training in Japan in July 2013, have also joined. During the meeting, the progress of the term and the plan for the next term including the cost-share plan between Thai and Japanese side were reported and confirmed by all participants.
In addition, the member of policy discussion group to organize the policy discussion seminar planned to be held at 29th and 30th August was discussed. Finally, the preparatory situation of model services in each site (home help service and day service) were reported by the representative of each project site. Thai and Japanese stakeholders agreed to continue the collaboration towards the further development of model services.
