On 2nd December 2013, Mr. Hasegawa who lectured on Care Management Training in Japan and the “Team Hasegawa”, consist of 3 Japanese working for elderly in Saitama prefecture has visited Bangsithong Rehabilitation Center in Nonthaburi site to introduce and donate Japanese modern elderly care products to them. For example, glide and slide mat for the bed ridden elderly, light walking stick for independent elderly, spill-resistant urinal bottle etc. were demonstrated by the team and then donated. We are interested in if the Japanese products are also useful to improve QOL of the elderly and reduce burden of care givers in Thailand.
