LTOP Logo Designing Contest

Overview

Under the rapid aging population in Thailand, The JICA Project of Long-Term Care Service Development for the Frail Elderly and Other Vulnerable People (LTOP) has started since January 2013 with a cooperation between JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) and Thai Government to develop policy recommendations on the long-term care for the elderly based on the evidence from the pilot projects and Thai and Japanese knowledge and experience. LTOP Project is about to start elderly care model services in 6 project sites (Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chiang Rai, Khon Kaen and Surat Thani) and now, we need a logo that represents the LTOP identity and to promote our activities nationwide.

Rules

  1. The Contest is open to all nationalities
  2. 3 entries per person (maximum) is allowed.
  3. Deadline for submission is 10th February, 2014.
  4. Email your entries to ltopprojectinfo@gmail.com with the subject Logo Contest include your complete name, address, contact details and explanation of your work in the body of your email.
  5. The winning logo will be copyrighted to the LTOP Project. Any personal information you provide us remains private and will be used only for this purpose.

* As the project is working closely with Thai elderly and their families at 6 pilot sites as mentioned, so Thai elderly and family members are highly encouraged to participate.

Entry Guidelines

  1. Create a logo that is aligned with LTOP Project activities. Please visit project Home Page to learn more about activities. http://www.jica.go.jp/project/thai/thailand/015/index.html
  2. Entries must include the name of the LTOP in the logo design.
  3. Digital entries ONLY (jpeg, gif, png, pdf. or ai. Less than 3MB).

Selection Process

  1. LTOP Working Team will select the winner by Mid-February, 2014.
  2. Judging Criteria
    • Appearance of the logo represents the content of the LTOP Project, e.g. frail elderly person who receives long-term care appears.
    • Logo is easily used for goods made for LTOP Project, e.g. shirt, jacket, bag.
    • Logo does not have similar appearance to the logo of other projects etc.
  3. Announcement of the winning entry will be made within February, 2014.

Award

The person who submitted winning entry will receive prizes of 2,000 THB, certificate and a commodity.
