The Model Services have started in Bangkok site.

On the 26th May 2014, the kick-off meeting to officially initiate Model Services in Bangkok site was held at Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA). At the venue, Dr. Wantanee Wattana, the Director General of Health Department, BMA who chaired the meeting and Care managers, care workers, the persons in charge of Bangkok site from related Ministries and some elderly volunteers have joined from Thai side. From Japan side, the senior representative from JICA Thailand office and JICA experts have joined. During the meeting, the Project overview, contents of the Model Services and the process of LTOP survey etc were confirmed among participants to start the services.

On the following day, the baseline survey to care givers (family) of the target elderly in Bangkok site was also conducted by LTOP survey team and the service was started officially.
