On 26-27th August 2014, LTOP team participated in Workshop that was conducted for persons concerned of LTOP project at Khuntarn District in Chiang Rai Province. At the beginning of the workshop, Mr.Amphon, the mayor of Yanghom Tambon Municipality delivered an opening speech. In addition, Dr.Praphan from Ministry of Public Health made a speech as a chair person of this workshop.

In the workshop, Mr.Enomoto, LTOP Chief Advisor, gave a presentation about LTOP project. The contents of the presentation included "Background of LTOP","Current situation of LTOP", and"Future of LTOP". Participants listened to his presentation with fascination.

In the afternoon, volunteers explained cases of the elderly persons of whom they had taken care. Commentators remarked the advice and opinions about each presentation. After the presentations of case studies, the first day of the workshop ended.

The second day of the workshop started from the presentation of Mr.Enomoto. And then, volunteers explained cases of the elderly persons of whom they had taken care. After the presentations of case studies, we finished all schedule in this workshop.

In this workshop, participants were able to reconfirm many aspects about LTOP project such as its background, current situation and future plan. In addition, the experience and knowledge related to elderly care could be shared among participants.
