Khon Kaen Committee Meeting to Follow Up and Monitor the Operation Outcome was Held

On 3rd September 2014, Committee Meeting to Follow Up and Monitor the Operation Outcome was held in Khon Kaen site.

In the meeting, Chief Executive of Tessaban Tambon Sa-ard, where Khon Kaen site is located, representatives from Nam Phong Hospital, which serves as a district hospital at Tessaban Tambon Sa-ard, care manager, care workers and volunteers at the site, persons in charge at the Ministry of Public Health and Khon Kaen Provincial Health Office, LTOP expert etc. participated.

Firstly, Mr. Suphachai, Chief Executive of Tessaban Tambon Sa-ard, made the opening speech. He showed the plan to construct a building which can be used as a Day Service Center for the elderly persons next year. After that, there were a greeting from the representative of the Ministry of Public Health and an explanation on the future plan of LTOP from LTOP expert.

There was also a report on the situation of Long-term Care Model Services at Khon Kaen site by a care manager at the site. This report is followed by an introduction of cases in which physical and mental condition of the elderly persons had improved through the Long-term Care Model Services by a nurse at Nam Phong Hospital. After that, care workers shared the experience of long-term care.

In the afternoon, some participants visited the office of Nam Phong Disctict, which includes Tessaban Tambon Sa-ard, and had the opportunity to report to Mr. Suchai, Nam Phong District Chief Officer, about the outcome of LTOP directly.

Persons concerned at Khon Kaen site are well motivated toward the activities of LTOP and the sufficient activities at Khon Kaen site are highly expected in the near future.
