Counterpart Training (Care Management) in Year 2014 was Conducted

From 31st August till 20th September 2014, LTOP Counterpart Training on Care Management was conducted. This is the second one to train Thai potential Care Managers. 15 Thai trainees who are nurses, social workers, physiotherapist, community leaders etc have joined the training. Mr. Hasegawa, the Care Manager and the President of the Care Management Support Center in Japan was the main resource person for this training and the transferred the skill of Care Management.

Based on the lessons leant from last year training, the session on overview of care system in Japan was added on the first day. Also, some field visits to Japanese elderly house and the office of Care Managers in Japan were newly added to further improve the training contents.

The Training has finished successfully. In each site, trainees will start Care Management process they have learnt, and will share the knowledge to related people. LTOP Project keeps following up all Care managers in 6 Project sites who received training last year and this year.
