In response to the request from Thai Japanese Association School, Mr. Iijima, Senior Representative at JICA Thailand Office who is in charge of LTOP Project and Mr. Enomoto, Chief Advisor of LTOP Project has visited the Japanese school to support their project called "Let's develop inclusive society for the elderly!" and lecture on elderly to junior high school students on 20th of November, 2014.

First, there was an explanation from Mr. Iijima about the idea to implement ODA in Thailand and his career which leads to the work of international cooperation. Then, Mr. Enomoto explained the situation of population aging in Thailand and Japan and the overview of LTOP Project.

Students eagerly took notes of the lecture. They seem to be especially interested in the career of Mr. Iijima who chose to work for international cooperation.

In the middle of January, the students will go to field visit to Nonthaburi province to observe institutions and houses for the elderly.
