Monitoring of Model Services in Korat Site was conducted inviting JICA short-term experts, Prof. Tamiya and Prof. Noguchi

On the 22nd and 23rd January 2015, LTOP Project has invited two JICA short-term experts; Prof. Tamiya from University of Tsukuba and Prof. Noguchi from Waseda University and they have accompanied the Monitoring Survey conducted in Korat site.

On the first day, Japanese experts have observed the survey for the elderlies and care givers conducted proactively by Thai survey team and confirmed the survey process. On the second day, the meeting was conducted. Firstly, the Care Manager in Korat site explained the overview of Korat site and reported about the current situation of model services. Prof. Sutthichai from Chulalongkorn University, who led the survey gave some additional explanation. JICA short-term experts have asked them “Is there any change since LTOP model services have started?” Some Care Managers and Care Workers have answered that they now can collect information of the elderlies in community more comprehensively.

Using the lessons learnt gained from this survey, LTOP project will continue monitoring survey in other five sites as well.
