3 short term experts from Japan, Mr. Yamaya, Ms. Sugita, and Ms. Komatsu, visited to LTOP project from 19th August to 21st August 2015. They observed Nonthaburi site, and gave lectures on "Seminar on Long Term Care".

The short term experts and LTOP group observed Nonthaburi site. After receiving the presentation about the activities of Nonthaburi site, we had the discussion about the care services and exchanged opinions.

Also we visited to one elderly home and ask some questions about the care services.

Hold "Seminar on Long Term Care" (21th August 2015)

In the morning session, 2 experts from LTOP project presented "Activities of LTOP" and "LTOP Model Long Term Care Service". In the afternoon session, we focused the theme of "Dementia" which the site members are requesting to get deepen knowledge. Ms. Sugita from Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, Japan gave the lecture "Approach to Dementia Summary of New Orange Plan". And Ms. Komatsu who is working as the general manager at Social Welfare Corporation Naeba Fukushi Kai gave the lecture "Long-term Care in Japan". After the presentations and lectures, the seminar participants had the lively discussions. It became the valuable seminar to the all participants and LTOP project.
