Sites of The Project on Seamless Health and Social Services Provision for Elderly Persons (S-TOP) were determined

This Project started in November 2017, continuing from the CTOP and LTOP Projects since 2007 relating to the aging issues in Thailand.

We have been executing surveys and interviews relating to medical facilities, care facilities, universities and others. A total of almost 50 facilities in Bangkok and 12 provinces, where the primary activities focus on seamless service provision from acute phase to home with established rehabilitation centered on intermediate care. This was done together with Thai counterpart organizations namely: Ministry of Public Health; Ministry of Social Development and Human Security; and National Health Security Office.

Furthermore, we are aiming to contribute in rapidly progressing the aging society of Thailand by conveying rehabilitation medicines, technologies and experiences of Japan smoothly through executing in-country training or seminars by Japanese experts and Training in Japan for middle management level personnel, leading executives of hospital, and policy planners.
