In the following session, representatives from each site presented their situation analysis of Intermediate Care (IMC), draft of their activity plan at their sites, and what they want to gain or achieve from attending this Japan training. We could see the distinguishing feathers from the sites in their situation analysis and draft of activity plan, for example rehabilitation-centered with seamless care service from acute phase to returning home or service model which has intensive focus on Long Term Care (LTC) service including daily life support in the community.
Dr. Prasitchai, Director of Kaeng Koi Community (District) Hospital in Saraburi Province, closing remarks to the attendants of Japan training were, "We want to share opinions and discuss among participants on how to establish and develop IMC within the Thai context with while considering the differences between Japan and Thailand while learning from Japan's experiences of IMC". He continues that "I want to discuss with the NHSO on the policy of IMC and finances after the training in Japan has ended".
The outcome of today's pre-training assures the success of the training in Japan.
