Visiting Primary School

Photo

We visited the primary school and explain about the project on this day.

After watching the introducing DVD, students looked forams through microscope. "Star! Star shape!" They looked and shouted. They were interested in forams and asked "What do they eat?" "Do they become the corals?" Project counterpart replied very happily for these questions.

Teachers also looked at microscope lens many times and said "I didn't know that the sands in Tuvalu are from living things."" My point of view on the beach near my house has changed."

Wording Responsible: Fumiko Matsudate (Project Coordinator)
