Project Management Unit meeting (PMU)
- The third Project Management Unit was held at NIAH’s meeting room on 1stApril 2009 with the participation of Project’s chief members and representatives of target areas, including Dr Hoang Van Tieu-Project’s Director, Project’s Chief Advisor (Dr. Saito Norio), coordinator (MrShimizu Yoshihiro), long-term expert (MrKoji Shimokawa), Mr. Tang XuanLuu-director of STED, BaVi, Mr. Tran Van Nhanfrom MocChaudairy breeding Jsc. Co., MrLe Van Hoat, Head of VinhTuong’sAgriculture Extension Station, together with Project’s counterparts.
- The main content of the meeting is to review Project’s progress over the past one year (by Dr Tieu), inform of members about some adjustments of the Project Design Matrix, coorperationframework with Project Management Unit, Input for 2009 (by Chief Advisor Dr. Saito Norio), introduction of model farm technical evaluation activity and action plans for Project’s activities in 2009 (by MrLuuand MrKoji Shimokawa).
- In addition to report, this meeting was also a chance for target areas’ representatives speak out their comments, expectations and suggestions related to Project’s activities in their local area.
- The meeting finished at 12.30. All proposals came to agreement and would be finalisedto receive final approval of the coming JCC’s members.
