From 7th -11th September 2009, the project held a training course on Reproduction Control Technology in Ba Vi center for 12 participants mainly come from Vinh Tuong and Ba Vi areas.

This was the first time that the counterparts of the project (Mr. Phuong Van Vi, Ms Dang Thi Duong, and Ms. Tran Thi Loan) lectured directly to the LTs, based on their knowledge and what they had learned in the previous course preparation. Mr Saito Satoshi played the role as an evaluator and a general instructor. In this training course, the project focused much on practices including checking reproductive organs in a room and real cows in the field by visiting actual dairy farmers. Although it was the first time for the counterparts acting as lecturer, they did their jobs well and had good experience for their training as trainer.

The LTs were given a pre-test and a post test using same questions. After the training course, they could answer nearly all the questions which they were not the beginning of the course.
