Dr Okamoto is a shorter-expert on dairy cattle nutrition from Rakuno Gakuen University, Japan. After arriving in Vietnam on 14th September 2009, he used his 1st week for work preparation, by discussing and lecturing with Vietnamese counterparts(C/Ps), mainly on dairy cattle nutrition and heat stress management. This preliminary session was held in BaVi center, with participation of 6 C/Ps. The session had provided the C/Ps with scientific information on the topics, prepared materials for the following training course for Local Trainer/Technicians ( LTs), as well as it produced presentations and technical information materials such as leaflets to be used in the project activities.
