Dr Minami arrived in Vietnam on 11th of November 2009. In one week after his arrival, he lectured counterparts(C/Ps) on some matters of clinical diagnosis veterinary medicine, and visited some farms in Ba Vi area. This was also the time he prepared materials for the following local technician (LTs) training course, which would be suitable for the participants.

The C/Ps made use of the time to ask Dr Minami about some difficult disease cases they had encountered. Dr Minami was always enthusiastic to help increase the knowledge of the young people.
