VTCA held its 3rd anniversary ceremony on 15 April 2001. VTCA is our important partner with whom the project organized taxpayer service related activities such as short term expert seminar and development of materials for taxpayers. In the ceremony, on behalf of JICA, Mr. Nishikori, a long term expert, congratulated the 3rd anniversary. He also delivered a congratulatory address of Japan Federation of Certified Public Tax Accountants' Associations (JFCPTAA) and an introductory note about JFCPTAA in place of Mr. Toshihiro Ikeda, President of JFPCTAA, who had to regretfully decline VTCA's invitation to this ceremony due to the earthquake disaster occurred in Japan. Vice Minister of MOF and Deputy Director General of GDT stressed, in their speech at the ceremony, the important role of tax consultant in tax administration and praised VTCA for its achievement in past three years.
