JICA supports GRZ in conducting investment promotion activities in Zambia as well as in Asian Countries. JICA provides technical assistance to strengthen the capacity of Zambian Development Agency and other relevant government organizations in a series of investment promotion activities, namely preparation, implementation and follow ups.

For two weeks from 12th February 2010, a mission was sent to New Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai in India to promote Zambia for FDI.

At the business seminar in Chennai, we had about 50 participants from Indian local business community. Hon. Zambian Ambassador to India led the mission and ZDA staff actively promoted Zambia.

On the following day, a local Indian newspaper (the Hindu) reported this seminar.
