Chongwe DHMT had a tour to Mwembezhi RuHC in Mumbwa district on 27 August. This is so called “Exchange Visit”.

During this tour, Mumbwa DHMT was providing the mobile ART services at Mwembezhi RuHC. The purpose of the tour was to exchange the experiences between both districts (Mumbwa and Chongwe). The two districts shared information and ideas to improve the mobile ART services according to the lessons learned on sites.

Mwembezhi RuHC is one of the most active center among the RuHCs in two districts in terms of excellent involvument of both the RuHC staff and community support group. Chongwe team was very enthusiastic to interview the staff and the community supporters and observe their activities which were already started before Mumbwa Mobile Team arrived at the site. It was the 1st exchange visit since the project started mobile ART service in 2007 and it was good opportunity for Chongwe DHMT to learn things from his colleagues. Chongwe team, of course, promised to invite Mumbwa team to one of his RuHCs.
