The 4th ART Review Meeting organized by Mumbwa District Health Office was held at Madalitso Guest House, Mumbwa District on 18th November 2008.

Various discussions were taken place in the meeting, such as TB, PMTCT, new HIMS reporting system, and the necessity of re-orientation for lay counselors on HIV testing by Finger Pricking method.

Furthermore, the introduction of mobile ART service by Nangoma Mission Hospital was also discussed. Nangoma Mission Hospital is planning to introduce the mobile ART service in the neighbouring area of the hospital such as Mukulaikuwa, Sichobo, and Keezwa Rural Health Centres.

In this context, the staff from these 3 health centers were also invited to the meeting.

A key discussion was that the same Mobile ART system, which was developed for the mobile ART service by Mumbwa DHMT, should be adopted by Nangoma Mission Hospital.

Further meeting in order for making a frame work of the unification on Mobile ART service will be held among Mumbwa DHMT, Nangoma Mission Hospital and JICA team.
