What is P-LEADS?
The P-LEADS[1] JICA's master course education program that was announced in the PALM 7 on May, in 2015, and it aims to foster young leaders who play a vital role towards the resolution of development challenges in Pacific Islands Countries, as well as to further strengthen the relationships between their countries and Japan.

My name is Erick Nalau, I graduated from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in the fall graduation in 2018, with a master's degree in public health management. Through my studies I came to understand how to strengthen the core components of the health system towards the achievement of universal health coverage, with an emphasis on primary health care.
Knowledge I have gain would help me to well participate in strengthening some of the core components of health system towards the achievement of universal health coverage, with an emphasis on Primary Health Care.
Studying in Japan was an opportunity of exchanging ideas and experiences within Japanese health practices and other international health practices in providing primary health care.
