Project for Improving TVET Quality to Meet the Needs of Industries

Present trend for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) focuses on Labor-intensive industry such as garment industry, simple assembly industry or construction industry. In order for keeping sustainable economic growth, it is imperative for diversification of industrial structure and creation/nurture of high value-added industries. However, it appears that lack of domestic Cambodian human resources to tackle these challenges and urgently needed technicians with practical skills. Therefore, in order to strengthening higher diploma level personnel with practical skills to be contributing for industries, this project has formulated by selecting electricity field that has high demands from the industries.
