Signing of Grant Agreement with Eswatini: Improvement for the educational environment and access, and contribute to improving the quality of secondary education

On August 7, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a grant agreement with the Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini in Ezulwini, to provide grant aid of up to 1,613 million yen for the Project for the Improvement of Secondary Schools.

The Project for the Improvement of Secondary Schools

The Kingdom of ESWATINI (Ngwenyameni, New Thulwane, Maphungwane, and Lavumisa)

- Project Objective
The objective of the Project is to improve the schooling environment and accessibility in the target areas by constructing new secondary schools and equipping them with educational equipment, thereby contributing to the improvement of the quality of secondary education in Eswatini.

- Maximum Grant Amount
1,613 million Japanese Yen

44 Months(including detailed design work and procurement)
