On October 16, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a Record of Discussions with the Government of Tunisia in Tunis, the capital city, for “The Project for Urban Mobility Master Plan Study in Greater Tunis”, a technical cooperation project.

Sustainable economic growth and reduction of negative social and environmental impacts such as traffic congestion and air pollution in Greater Tunis will be promoted through the implementation of priority projects based on the Master Plan developed by the Project.
