On February 27, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a grant agreement with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in the capital city Yerevan, to provide grant aid for the Project for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support for Displaced Persons from Nagorno-Karabakh and Host Communities.

The project aims to reduce the psychological stress of children and help them return to a peaceful daily life by providing facilities and equipment for psychological care, strengthening the capacity of psychological care providers and conducting awareness-raising activities in cooperation with UNICEF for children from the Nagorno-Karabakh displaced population and host communities, thereby contributing to the promotion of human security for vulnerable groups.
