Signing of Grant Agreement with Vanuatu: Contributing to Economic Development of Vanuatu through Emergency Rehabilitation of Infrastructure Affected by the Earthquake

On July 14, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a grant agreement with the Government of the Republic of Vanuatu in the capital city Port Vila, to provide grant aid for the Programme for Emergency Rehabilitation of Principal Economic Infrastructure Affected by the Earthquake.

The objective of the Programme is to achieve reconstruction with Build Back Better concept by/through the reconstruction of the Tagabe bridge and procuring the necessary maintenance equipment, thereby contributing to achieve disaster resilient socio-economic development.
