Signing of Japanese ODA Loan Agreement with Uzbekistan: Contributing to mitigating climate change through promoting installation of energy efficient equipment in industrial and public buildings

On June 18, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed two loan agreements with the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the capital city Tashkent, to provide Japanese ODA loans for the following two projects. The signatures were exchanged between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Economy and Finance Kuchkarov Djamshid Anvarovich of the Republic of Uzbekistan and JICA Senior Vice President Yoshikawa Yoshifumi.
