Emergency Assistance to the Republic of Chile in Response to the Forest Fires
The Japan International Cooperation Agency will provide emergency relief goods as below in response to the serious damages mainly caused by forest fires in Republic of Chile, upon the request from the Government of Republic of Chile.
1. Disaster situation
The forest fires have been causing serious human and property damage. According to SENAPRED, the damage situation as of February 9 was as follows:
