Please be informed of the change of Examiners for the JICA Guidelines for Environmental and Social Considerations as follows.

[Retirement of two Examiners]

On June 30, 2022, the following two Examiners have completed their terms.

Ms. KANEKO Yuka
Professor, Center for Social Systems Innovation, Kobe University

Mr. HAYASE Takashi
Professor Emeritus, Nagasaki University

[Appointment of new Examiners]

As of July 1, 2022, JICA appointed the following two Examiners

New Examiners for the JICA Guidelines for Environmental and Social Considerations were selected by the selection committee following public invitation for the post, in accordance with the "Objection Procedures based on the Guidelines for Environmental and Social Considerations."

Based on the opinions of the selection committee, JICA President appointed the following persons with the duties of the Examiner for three years starting from July 1, 2022.

Ms. KAKEGAWA Michiyo
Associate Professor, Faculty of Economics, Soka University

Mr. SAKUMOTO Naoyuki
Honorary Researcher, Institute of Developing Economies, Japan External Trade Organization (IDE-JETRO)
