Since 2022, JICA has worked as a Coordinating Agency, facilitating a mutual communication between NDoE and DPs while promoting a participatory and transparent approach.

To mark this achievement, a signing ceremony of PNG Partnership Compact 2025-2028 took place on February 5, 2025, where the Secretary for the National Department of Education and Development Partner representatives, such as UNICEF, officially signed this agreed document to formally submit to Global Partnership for Education(GPE) in order to apply for necessary funding for the activities. JICA is proud to have taken part as both the Coordinating Agency and a key Development Partner delivering remarks and signing this agreed document at the event.
