2025.08.05
On 1 August 2025, 11 JICA-JDS Scholarship recipients departed the shores of PNG for Japan to undertake a 2 year Master’s Program at some of the prestigious universities in Japan. JDS stands for the Project on Human Resource Development Scholarship, which is a grant aid project implemented by JICA.
JICA congratulates all the scholars who could finally depart to Japan through the very rigorous selection processes.
They are expected to become future leaders of this country through learning public policy, public finance, international relations, climate change and environmental protection, too! The scholars are all public servants of the National Government.
We are sure that they will enjoy their new challenges in Japan and will be successfully back to PNG with the most rewarding experiences!!
