4 young women to study in Japan through JICA scholarship

A total of four female government officers and an academics successfully passed all screening processes under the SDGs Global Leader and KIZUNA scholarship program. They are amongst a total of five successful scholarship applicants who will be travelling to Japan starting in September 2025 to study for their Masters in five different Japanese universities.
JICA PNG Office applauds the efforts demonstrated by these four young enthusiastic women to secure a JICA scholarship. JICA and JICA PNG Office supports Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment through providing training opportunities and gender mainstreaming in our projects.
JICA provides 5 different types of scholarships in PNG for public servants, researchers and academics who endeavor to further their studies in their chosen field of work. We wish all scholars the best in their studies and look forward to their contributions to the sustainable development of PNG upon their return.
