The training brought together 19 participants from Alotau Urban Local Level Government (ULLG), Goroka ULLG, Kokopo Vunamami ULLG, Lae City Authority, and Port Moresby. Participants enthusiastically learned how to conduct effective waste characterization, as well as the procedures for formulating a Municipal Solid Waste Management Master Plan, and participated in the implementation of a waste survey.
