【Announcement】𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐮𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔! 

This Sunday, 8 March 2026, JICA will walk together with the National Capital District Commission, UN partners, the Department of Community Development & Religion, the Australian High Commission, and many others to mark International Women’s Day 2026.

This year’s theme is:
Rights. Justice. Action – For All Women and Girls

The walk will commence from Ela Beach and proceed to the Sir Hubert Murray Stadium, where a short program will follow.
Participants are encouraged to come dressed in white or purple to show solidarity for women and girls across Papua New Guinea.

JICA PNG Office will distribute T-shirts designed for International Women’s Day 2026 to the participants of the walking event though not all participants may not be able to receive T-shirts due to its availability.
