Professor Joseph Stiglitz

The Initiative for Policy Dialogue (IPD) at Columbia University and Japan International Cooperation Agency Research Institute (JICA-RI) establish a joint research framework. As in the past to presence, JICA and IPD have been conducting a joint research project in order to produce evidence-based policy implications on African development. Professor Joseph Stiglitz, co-president of IPD, who has been leading the joint research project between IPD and JICA-RI will visit to Japan to attend upcoming TICAD7. Taking this opportunity, the public seminar is hosted jointly organized by IPD, Meiji University and JICA-RI.
In this seminar, Professor Stiglitz will set the basis of the discussion in his keynote speech. Thereafter, we open the discussion to the floor.
