Epson cooperates with the Project
On March 25, 2021, JICA and Seiko Epson Corporation (hereafter, "Epson") concluded a comprehensive partnership agreement with the aim of solving development issues in developing countries and contributing to the achievement of the SDGs.
The agreement stipulates "Connecting the world with trust and technology". The use of technology smartly is also emphasized in the Project. Therefore, JICA discussed the possibility of collaboration with Epson for the agreement, and as a result, this Project was selected as one of the model projects for collaboration.
Epson lent the Project a projector with a built-in battery that can be used outdoors for the Project. The Project currently plan to discuss with stakeholders the implementation of cultural exchanges and e-education, etc., using the Epson's solution technologies.
