Project News

Renovation and construction works of public facilities to ensure its resilience at five sites in Beira are on progress, which were damaged by the Cyclone Idai to hit the middle of Mozambique in March 2019. Seven months has passed since the work commenced. Due to the travel restriction from Japan under the COVID-19, remote construction supervision has continued and the project met a variety of problems at the project sites. However, local contractors and consultants have made every effort to solve the problems and the works move forward step by step. You can see the current situation of sites as below.
