A demonstration project on traffic education was launched.

In April 2022, we piloted a traffic education activity using a board game named "Traffic Sugoroku" at the Starina Novak primary school in Belgrade, with the cooperation of local teachers. The aim of this activity is to create an opportunity for the children, the future leaders of Belgrade, to think independently about the social dilemma of private car use and the advantages of public transport while playing the board game.

As the above-mentioned pilot project has confirmed a certain level of educational benefits among the parties involved, including the schools, it was decided to proceed to a full-scale demonstration project in collaboration with Belgrade University (FTTE), and the first traffic education activity was launched in February 2023 at the Starina Novak primary school.

Similar activities will be continued until April 2023 in a total of four primary schools in the urban and suburban areas of Belgrade, targeting fourth graders.

Subsequently, in May 2023, the effects of the implementation of this demonstration project will be evaluated among the entities involved, and recommendations for the future promotion of public transport use in Belgrade will be compiled.
