Set up of X-ray tube into X-ray inspection machine

JICA will provide X-ray Tube of X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer to Vietnam Customs under the Follow-up cooperation program of the previous Master Trainers Raising Project. The equipment is used to analyze goods category in order to impose appropriate duty to import and export cargo. As the X-ray tube cannot be procured in Vietnam, JICA asked Malaysian company to provide the X-ray tube and install it on the Spectrometer. With the use of the equipment, the analysis of the import and export goods is expected to be more effective and efficient in the near future.
