Meeting at General Department of Vietnam Customs (Mr. Blues chief consultant, third person of back left)

Consultants commissioned by JICA Headquarter visited General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) to conduct a survey and exchange views on improvement of customs procedures for trade facilitation in Vietnam. The consultants also held an interview with long –term expert dispatched to GDVC to discuss customs clearance issues in Vietnam. After completing current situation survey of the Mekong region, such as Thailand, Cambodia, JICA plans to consider how to improve the customs clearance procedure in the region.
