In order to improve communication skill of local customs officer who deal with enterprises, 8 local customs officers participated in "Human Skill-up Seminar" at Hanoi University of Technology on 16th and 17th December, 2010.

This Seminar was provided by Vietnamese instructors who were developed in"Higher Education Development Support Project on ICT" (HEDSPI) by receiving support from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). In this project, Mr. Katsunori Nakajima who is Visiting Professor, Graduate School of Management, Ritsumeikan University had made technical transfer about Human Skill to them.

Practice of "Leadership"

The participants were not only from customs but also private sector. Customs officers attended it aggressively with participants from private sector. It was quite good chance to understand not only Human skill but also the mind in public sector and private sector each other.

Based on the result of this course, the Human skill training curriculum for customs officers will be formulated. On the other hand, these efforts which utilized achievement of JICA project each other also will be considered.
