On Jan 18th 2011, Regional Joint Coordinating Committee on Customs Risk Management project was held in Hanoi with the participation of the delegates from Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar. At the opening ceremony, Deputy Director General of Vietnam Customs, Mr. Nguyen Duong Thai, made a speech on behalf of Vietnam Customs and express his thanks to Japanese experts for providing expertise and knowledge of risk management in Japan. In the meeting, Mr. Uno, Project Chief Adviser, gave overall report on their activities and the delegate of Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam made progress report and evaluations in each country. After free exchange of views on next project, the participants of the meeting agreed to make their utmost efforts to achieve fruitful results for the remainder of the project term.
