The Announcement Ceremony on Authorized Economic Operators was held on July 19th 2011 in Vietnam Customs with the participation of senior officers of Ministry of Finance, vice president of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industries(VCCI). The AEO program aims to facilitate and ensure the security of international trade by building a partnership with private enterprises. And the program also expected to enhance compliance of customs legislation of enterprises. The AEO program offers benefits to operators with excellent compliance, such as reducing cost and time for customs procedure. For the first stage, 9 enterprises including Japanese (2), Korean(1) and Vietnamese (6) are selected to encourage and facilitate the import and export activities.
