RENFODA was JICA's technical cooperation project established various models such as livestock revolving systems, agro-forestry and forest protection in Hoa Binh province.

This time SUSFORM-NOW project visited the former RENFODA project with the heads of villages of each pilot site in Dien Bien and Dien Bien Dong districts for leaning the experiences of RENFODA.

At the pilot sites in both districts, villagers have started livelihood development activities named MIA (Most Immediate Activities). The village heads want to learn much more knowledge and experiences for conducting MIA smoothly because they assume as a leader of such pilot activities of SUSFORM-NOW.

Villagers of our pilot sites asked many things to the group leader of the activities of RENFODA project such as "in case farrowing sow, which was supported by the project, doesn't have capable of pregnant no longer, how did you solve this matter?"

The study tour members also visited Lac tourist village in Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh Province, for learning knowhow for managing cooperative, and a road side station in Moc Chau district, Son La Province, for learning marketing and needs of consumers stopping there.
