The training course on accountant was conducted in Hanoi, on 9 May 2012.

The total 8 people, secretaries and accountants, were participated from the each Project Management Units (PMUs) on the project pilot 4 provinces of Dien Bien, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa and An Giang.

Each PMU have a lot of project activities, means that they have to follow the necessary procedures for the accont works that are related to the activities. The Finanicial Year (FY) 2011, the management PMUs had just started, thus they needed much effort and time to get used to the detail and correct accounting works that the project office expected. From the experiences, the project office tries to simplify the accounting works as much as possible. The purpose on the training was to introduce the updated accounting manual and practice, share the experiences on the accountant by 4 PMUs.

Dr. Nguyễn Đức Vinh, Vice director of MCH Dept.MOH/Project director delivered the opening speech. Then, the participants shared their experiences such as the challenges and difficulties for FY2011. Most groups described that it was challenging to follow the detail procedures by the project office because there are many trainings invitings many peoples, but they are sure that they got used to it.

At the end of the training, participants did group works for find out the necessary documents for the accouting. Most particpans raised the right answers. During the trainining, the participants seem to have more confidence to do accounting works.
