Project News

In collaboration with the Nong Lam University of Ho Chi Minh City, the project has conducted a training course on communication skills and working with local communities. The importance of communication skills has been recognized in training needs assessment. Training included both theory and practice, and the participants attempted to demonstrate the skills in dialogue with members of the local communities. A total number of 15 participants, comprising working group members, partners and forest rangers, have successfully completed the course. It is expected that the skills acquired through this training will benefit future activities of the project.
