In October 2015, Project conducted 2 TOT courses in 2 weeks from 19th to 30th for the medical staff of 6 target provinces.

Six target provinces were devided into 2 groups. Group 1 included staff from Hoa Binh, Son La and Dien Bien provinces, and group 2 comprised of people from Lai Chau, Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces. Ten doctors and nurses with teaching skill and at least 5 years of working experience from each province were selected for the course.

The TOT covers both theory and practice with several contents, i.e. training program, active clinical teaching methods, and trainees assessment methods etc. The course helps to sharpen teaching and planning skills of provincial staff, who are the key people in creating effectiveness of DOHA – the core activity of the Project.

The Project are honored to receive strong support from enthusiastic and rich-experienced trainers from Training and DOHA Center of Bach Mai Hospital in organizing this course.

It is highly expected that all the trainees would contribute to the improvement of the quality of human resources of the provincial and district hospitals in their provinces through applying the output of this TOT into their work.
