| Contents | This workshop is to research the actual situation of state compensation cases and hear the opinion from local officials, following the workshop on 28 May in north. Mr. Nguyen Van Bon, Director of Department of State Compensation and other cadres of the department gathered and discussed with the officials of southern provinces. Not so many cases are filed in southern areas as well as northern areas, and the officials seemed to think that people tend to hesitate filing due to complicated proceedings under the current law. In the sight of the practice of field-level, officials in charge are ridden with limited information and lack of experience because state compensation is new to Vietnam. It is hoped that the fruitful result of this sequence of research will help the improvement of their practice. |
