| Contents | 1) This workshop was held to share experiences and exchange opinions between MOJ and OOG how to achieve the theme "Rectifying inconsistency in LND, promoting uniform implementation and application of LND" in future and how JICA project can contribute to it, based on the experiences both agency have got through the study tours which have been conducted in 2015 with above theme. 2) In this workshop, MOJ and OOG expressed that they could have various awareness on this issue and they are willing to cooperate with each other to address necessary reform and to achieve above theme. Particularly it was notable that MOJ showed their had already planned to make a kind of "dictionary" or "manual" for legal terminology with support from NLD Project (Canada), to unify wordings in LNDs which should be used throughout the process from legal drafting to post-reviewing. In response, OOG presented their own experience that they had once tried to make a similar material with the support from GIZ (Germany) but it had failed because they had set target quality level too high. Based on this OOG's experience, MOJ and OOG had a constructive talk on this lesson learnt to avoid same fate this time. |
